Pokemon Sun & Moon?

Anyone else excited for these? I'm still playing Alpha Sapphire, but my brother really wants to get Pokemon Moon and wants me to pick up Sun, so I might do that so we can trade and battle together and what have you. Are you going to be picking up either of these titles or perhaps both?

A bit. They certainly seem to vary up the basic gameplay of the series more than the previous titles, and the whole 'no gyms or HMs' thing is an interesting set of changes.

But I'm also a bit worried that those changes might make them less enjoyable or something. So hey, I'll see what happens when they're released.

It's gonna be interesting I just hope Ultra beasts and all these new things don't ruin competitive play.

I am pretty excited for the games, but I admit I have been keeping myself relatively in the dark regarding all the changes they are bringing.
It sounds like they really wanted to shake the formula.
I must admit I am pretty surprised to hear there won't be gym battles, as I pretty much thought that was a staple of the series.

I just found out there's a double-pack being sold. That's perfect for me and my brother so we'll definitely be snagging that up when it launches in a few weeks.

That's awesome, not sure such a pack exists in the Australian retailer but I should check that out for @Sardonic Pickle and me. Thanks for sharing that.

I suggest there be a separate thread to talk about the leaks. I'm trying very hard not to get myself spoiled, and I believe many others are trying as well. I'm actually thinking of there being consequences for discussing leaks outside of the thread it belongs in, so I'll be sure to let the staff know of my suggestion and we'll see what our conclusion is.

Also I am very excited and I will be getting moon.
I agree with @Lexatom about the spoilers, make sure you guys use Spoiler tags if you talk about leaks.
Myself I have been trying not to dive into it, but it doesn't surprise me. :XD:

I tried the demo before the game. There are some things you can link and the demo gives you activities for other days, for example, I have to meet someone tomorrow and someone else in a few days.
It is interesting. It works at first like a normal demo and will give you the thanks to playing but after you press A it will resume the game. That was pleasing.

Anyway, I am looking forward to diving into the game properly tomorrow after work.

I like Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon better, but I do play the original Sun and Moon occasionally. Not sure how far I am on the original versions

Is there any benefit in keeping the original version when you got Ultra? My understanding is that that the story is pretty much the same plus Team Rocket. I was considering traiding Moon for Ultra Moon, would you reckon it is better I get Ultra Moon without getting rid of Moon?
