I don't appreciate being labelled a pervert. Nor do I appreciate the intimation that my beliefs are unjustifiable. I'm fairly lucky in that as a writer, I can simply hide behind a pseudonym. But this sort of anti-porn sentiment causes real harm to the people who are well known sex workers, some of whom are my friends.

If you want to agree to disagree, that's fine. But don't make cheap parting shots at me as you do it.

It's fine to disagree with me, dude. I'm an extremely opinionated person and I'm not shy about sharing my views. This is a discussion forum. We're here to discuss things, and most of those things will involve some kind of disagreement. You think porn is immoral. As both a pornographer and an ethicist, I strongly disagree with you. If you want to hash that out, I'm certain we can have a very friendly, enjoyable discussion on the topic. I'd really like that!

Nothing so profitable. I write erotic microfiction, which has garnered me a fairly decent following. I term myself a 'pornographer,' because I make smut. I do not consider myself a sex worker, because at no point have I myself been the 'product.'

I do know a few sex workers / porn stars. Though only in passing really. I'm not close with any of them, but I am passionate about promoting their rights and breaking down the social barriers they face.

Hmm, you seem to be into this weird idea that we cannot have an argument about it without respecting that other people have different views. It can totally happen and become an interesting exchange. I know it helps me challenge my own notions and stop seeing black and white other people's opinions.

I am really curious to know where are you coming from, would you mind elaborate why do you think porn is immoral?
It sounds to me like you have a very strong opinion regarding this but are defensive about people picking apart your reasoning. We might counter with the way we think but it won't be a personal attack or trying to force you to change your mind.
Either way it is good to talk about our beliefs and rationalizations to correct and reaffirm our own ideas. Otherwise topics like this become taboo and paradigms. It is healthy to question and understand why we think the way we do, and a good way is exchanging ideas.

I am passionate about this issue, but I wasn't expressing anger when I asked Ala to explain himself. I really want to know what he was attempting to communicate in that post. I want to see it explained in his words so we can talk about it. I think there are a lot of assumptions there that are worth unpacking.
