One of teh reasons I wanted to play this game is purely the Link cameo. Other than that I don't know much, but it is definitely the first time I've heard someone with the opinion atht it sucks.
I feel the same way about Earthbound/Mother 2. I find it highly overrated. I'm going to die for saying this, aren't I?

Lol all Kirby games are good. I prefer the DS remake of Super Star over the original, though.
I have tried Super Mario World, which is amazing. As well as Megaman X. I played a bit of F-Zero, too. Those are the games that I can think of at the top of my head as of right now.

Why do you like the DS remake better? did it improve a lot on the SNES one?
Yeah, it did. I find remakes of any game to be better than the original, to be honest. I mean, isn't that the point of a remake? To make the game better than the original? xp

Hahaha, dang those name changes. A whole triangle of name swapping out of Japan. Still I think Vega is more appropriate given his Spanish aspect.
That said, the first games with his music were fast paced. I really like his theme in SFII.

Well, yeah, in part. the idea is to bring it to newer generations and correct some things taht were limited back in the day. This doesn't mean they always achieve it.

Nope. Played SNES games on later systems via the Virtual Console, remakes, etc, but I played more Game Boy and Nintendo 64 games as a kid.
And with emulators... I'm not sure I see a reason to play this console in its original form.
